Castro Wins RCL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, April 19th, 2021 At the age of 27, Lorenzo Castro might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The New York first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .565 batting average. For his efforts Castro collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs and 4 RBIs last week in 7 games. |
