Contreras Wins RCL Best Player Award Monday, April 12th, 2021 At the age of 28, José Contreras might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The So Cal center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .481 batting average. For his efforts Contreras collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 6 home runs and 16 RBIs last week in 6 games. |
