Central League Picks Top Performer Monday, August 26th, 2019 Central League pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Ka-fei Bi of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 17-year-old second baseman boasted a .533 average with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Bi went 8-15 for the week. Thus far this year Bi has hit .349 with 6 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
