Golden Eagles Vu-Pham Suffers Injury Sunday, July 21st, 2019 Disappointing news today for Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles fans. Vui Vu-Pham was hurt being hit by a pitch in their game against the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks and has a broken bone in the elbow. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the first baseman out at least 4 months. To date Vu-Pham has chalked up a .324 average with 9 home runs, driven in 22 runs and scored 23 times. |
