CL Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Zhang Monday, July 1st, 2019 Wing-fung Zhang of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp stood out in June with a .444 batting average against Central League pitchers to land him the Batter of the Month award. The 16-year-old third baseman totaled 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He also chipped in 10 walks for a .565 on-base percentage. To date this season Zhang is hitting .444 with 6 home runs. |
