Yin-reng Tang Captures PL Award Monday, July 1st, 2019 Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles right fielder Yin-reng Tang had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Pacific League named him Player of the Week. Tang banged out 4 hits in 7 at-bats on the way to a .571 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. To date this year Tang is batting .261 with 3 home runs. |
