May's Premier Batter Announced Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Hot-hitting first baseman Arana Kesiraju of the Dragons really pounded Central League pitchers in May, winning the Batter of the Month award. He hit .343 with 9 home runs, 22 RBIs, 13 runs scored and 6 walks to finish with a .390 on-base percentage. This year Kesiraju has collected a .351 batting average to date with 67 hits in 191 at-bats, 68 RBIs, 25 home runs and scored 48 times. He has played in 51 games. |
