Shang Slams 5 Hits for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 It was a magical day at the plate for the Fighters Yi-ke Shang. The 17-year-old second baseman helped lift Hokkaido Nippon-Ham to a 14-9 win over the Chiba Lotte Marines today at Ballpark of Nasu College. Shang smacked 5 hits in 6 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Yi-ke Shang singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. This year Shang is batting .324 with 2 home runs. He has scored 10 runs and driven in 12. |
