Kubo and Quinn Suspended 10 Games For Brawl Saturday, April 27th, 2019 The league commissioner has issued 10-game suspensions to Motonobu Kubo of Tokyo Yakult and Cole Quinn of Chunichi. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Swallows-Dragons game at Rebels Ballpark and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions. Kubo is currently batting .310 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 36 hits in 116 at-bats. This year Quinn has chalked up a 9.58 ERA with no saves. In 5 relief appearances he has put up a 0-0 won-lost mark and struck out 10 batters in 10.1 innings. |
