Augusto Padilla to Miss 5 Months Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 After injuring himself, Lions reliever Augusto Padilla headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Padilla will miss at least 5 months with bone chips in his elbow. This year Padilla has no saves, totaled 10.1 innings, allowed 12 base hits and fashioned a 4.35 ERA while racking up 8 strikeouts and a record of no wins and no losses. |
