CL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, April 15th, 2019 The Central League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Diptavirya Subbarat, right fielder of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .353 pace to win the award. Subbarat went 6-17 for the week, totaled 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 4 times. To date, Subbarat has collected 18 hits for a .214 average. He has posted 4 home runs, scored 7 runs and driven in 14 runs. |
