Week's Premier Player: ORIX's Sima Monday, April 8th, 2019 Ching-hsia Sima made quite a splash in the Pacific League this past week. The ORIX Buffaloes left fielder drilled opposing pitchers for 8 hits in 15 at-bats to roll up a .533 batting average and the Pacific League Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. Thus far this year Sima has hit .361 with 12 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
