Chandra Selected Player of the Week Monday, August 27th, 2018 The top batter in the Central League last week was Jugnu Chandra, who batted .438 and towered above everybody with a 4-game hitting barrage. During the week Chandra banged out a .438 batting average (7-16), 1 home run, 4 RBI and scored 2 runs. Today the Yokohama shortstop received the CL Player of the Week Award. This season Chandra is batting at a .292 clip with 5 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
