Star of the Week Honored in PL Monday, June 25th, 2012 ORIX Buffaloes right fielder Ichiro Kimura had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Pacific League named him Player of the Week. Kimura banged out 8 hits in 14 at-bats on the way to a .571 batting average. He also racked up no home runs, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. In his 2012 season totals, Kimura has 5 home runs, .354 BA, .495 OBP, 20 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
