5-Hit Barrage by Ci Friday, July 13th, 2018 Hokkaido Nippon-Ham center fielder Bin-ying Ci could do no wrong in today's 10-1 win over the Buffaloes as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Buffaloes said to the press corps after the game. Ci agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Bin-ying Ci tripled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
