Nakamura Batters Fukuoka SoftBank Big Time Sunday, May 6th, 2018 Kimitada Nakamura of the Lions was unstoppable in today's 8-6 victory over the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks at Ballpark of Aomori College. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Saitama Seibu catcher after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will." Kimitada Nakamura struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 11th and hit a two-run home run off Lyonya Erdneev in the 12th.
