Alex Woodville Will Miss 8-9 Months Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Hawks when after today's game against the Marines, the club found out they would be without the services of Alex Woodville for at least 8-9 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Woodville was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a ruptured disc. Thus far this season Woodville has compiled a 1-0 record, made 5 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 7.2 innings and striking out 4. He has held the opposition to a .333 batting average with a 10.57 ERA. |
