The Yomiuri left fielder laid down some numbers that no one else could match, including a .438 average on 7 hits in 16 at-bats, 4 home runs, 14 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. Say no more ... he got the award. Matsushita is batting .318 this year with 15 home runs, 42 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 35 hits in 110 at-bats. |
