"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Kichida. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Hawks star told reporters. Kichida excelled with an impressive 15-6 record in 26 starts. In 159.1 innings he yielded 101 hits and 67 walks, while striking out 206 and compiling a fine 3.33 ERA. |
