Pacific League Picks Top Performer
Monday, September 26th, 2016
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Pacific League, but last week Noriyuki Nakashima of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Nakashima rocked opposing pitching for a .600 average (6-10), no home runs and 2 RBIs to come away with the award.
Currently Nakashima is batting .226 with 5 home runs and 23 RBIs.
