Daikawa Boosts Hit Streak to 32 Games Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 Today Yasuhide Daikawa went 1-for-5 in the Yokohama Bay Stars 7-4 victory over the Chiba Lotte Marines. This extended his hitting streak to 32 games. Daikawa declined to comment for the media immediately after the game. Yasuhide Daikawa flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, singled in the 9th and grounded out in the 10th. This season Daikawa is batting .347 with 14 home runs. His totals include 72 RBIs and 80 runs scored. |
