Baba Goes 5-5 Sunday, August 28th, 2016 It was a magical day at the plate for the Fighters Norihisa Baba. The 27-year-old third baseman helped lift Hokkaido Nippon-Ham to a 17-4 win over the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles today at Ballpark of Hakui College. Baba smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Norihisa Baba hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. This year Baba is batting .296 with 29 hits, 3 home runs, 18 RBIs, 15 walks, .395 OBP and has scored 21 runs. |
