Takashita Gets Shutout Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 Everything clicked on the hill today for Kenzo Takashita of the Chunichi Dragons as he hurled his club to a 13-0 shutout win over the Hanshin Tigers, limiting them to 3 hits while recording 13 strikeouts and yielding 1 walk. He overpowered some batters with his fastball and buckled knees with his sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," the Tigers manager said, "but we weren't able to get to him." |
