In his postgame interview the Saitama Seibu manager said, "Toshikasu Takahashi made us look real bad today. He was outstanding. He was down in the zone with all his pitches. Everything was sinking." Takahashi had 8 strikeouts, 1 walk and allowed only 1 hit as the Yokohama Bay Stars whitewashed the Saitama Seibu Lions 8-0. Over the season Takahashi has thrown 53.1 innings and dished out 61 strikeouts with a 4-0 mark and a 3.21 ERA. |
