Kikuchi Wins PL Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 24th, 2015 Veteran Yoshitora Kikuchi had a great week at the plate for the Fighters to capture the majority of votes for Player of the Week in the Pacific League. The 33-year-old Hokkaido Nippon-Ham second baseman built a .412 average on the strength of 7 hits in 17 at-bats, 2 home runs and 7 RBIs. This season Kikuchi has hit 3 home runs and posted a .328 batting average. |
