Tanabe Rips Yokohama for 5 Hits Saturday, August 8th, 2015 Tadahisa Tanabe was on fire today and sparked his club to a 4-3 victory over the Bay Stars. The Yomiuri first baseman was a tough out and went 5 for 6 against Yokohama in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody... and some days they fall in." Tadahisa Tanabe singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, flied out in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Tsugahara Ishii in the 12th. So far this year Tanabe is batting .255 with 2 home runs, 14 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
