PL Star of the Week Announced Monday, July 27th, 2015 Pacific League pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Tsuruki Kiyomizu, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .500 for the week to win the PL Player of the Week Award. The Fukuoka SoftBank first baseman cracked 7 hits in 14 at-bats, 4 home runs, drove in 8 runs and scored 5 times. On the year Kiyomizu is hitting .308 with 73 hits, 28 home runs, 60 RBIs, .459 OBP and has scored 61 runs. |
