Nakashima Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, July 23rd, 2015 Today Yohachi Nakashima went 2-for-4 in the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles 17-0 victory over the ORIX Buffaloes. This extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Nakashima declined to comment for the media immediately after the game. Yohachi Nakashima grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Katsumi Kakuta in the 4th and singled in the 6th. This season Nakashima has hit at a .345 clip with 52 RBIs, 13 home runs and 61 runs scored. |
