The hard-working and hard-playing Ikki Koumura was rewarded with the Pacific League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles right fielder hit .611 while collecting 11 hits in 18 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBIs. Koumura is hitting .396 for the season with 19 home runs, 65 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 63 hits in 159 at-bats and played in 46 games. |
