Yomiuri's Nakayama Winner, CL Best Hitter in July Friday, August 1st, 2014 Katsumoto Nakayama, the Yomiuri shortstop, had a productive month in July. He put up some solid numbers with a .333 batting average (25 for 75), 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 24 runs scored. That standout offense earned him the Central League Batter of the Month Trophy.
