Baba Crowned Batter of the Month in September Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 Even though he is a newcomer to Nippon Baseball League, Masaki Baba put up some good numbers in September and earned the CL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Tokyo Yakult's offensive leaders with a .429 average in 13 games. He also racked up 6 home runs, 19 RBIs, and 16 runs scored. Thus far this year Baba has hit .367 with 21 home runs and 89 RBIs. |
