Ishii and Suzuki Suspended 5 Games For Brawl Tuesday, August 6th, 2013 It was a pretty intense fight, so Noburo Ishii and Sadao Suzuki were both suspended today for 5 games for their part in a brawl which happened in a game between the Yokohama Bay Stars and the Chunichi Dragons at Cuckoos Stadium. Ishii said, "Luckily nobody was hurt. I think we both overreacted to the situation." On the year Ishii has hit .222 with no home runs, 3 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Taking a look at this year, Sadao Suzuki has made 42 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 3-1 won-lost mark and a 10.38 ERA. In pitching 52 innings, he has totaled 43 strikeouts and 51 walks. |
