Chunichi Catcher Nets CL Award Monday, July 15th, 2013 The Player of the Week has been announced by the Central League. The honor went to Kiichi Okazaki, catcher of the Chunichi Dragons. He burned up the league with a .667 average to win the award. Okazaki went 8-12 for the week, totaled 1 home run with 6 RBIs and scored 8 times. This year Okazaki is batting .321 with 3 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
