Capitals Say Adios to Manager Richards Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 In a move that some fans say didn't come soon enough, and others think is overly harsh, manager Steve Richards was fired by the Victoria Capitals. "This is one of the hardest parts of my job," the GM told a hushed crowd of reporters who assembled for a press conference. "It was a tough decision. But while we might argue over what blame to place where in our organization, one thing we can all agree on is we all have a stake in turning this team around. That's the goal of today's decision." Repeated attempts to reach Richards for comment were not successful. |
