LBL's #1 Player, Pong of Saskatoon Monday, April 8th, 2019 Hyun-koo Pong is respected by most Saskatoon Legends fans for his no-frills style of play. The 18-year-old first baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Lester B. Person League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .476 average (10-21) with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Presently Pong is hitting .317 with 9 home runs and 35 RBIs. He has played in 32 games and scored 31 times. |
