Kelly Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Saturday, April 6th, 2019 It was a parade of hits for Ken Kelly of the Kelowna Heat... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Trois-Rivieres Saints for 5 hits in his 7 at-bats and propelled the Heat to a 19-6 victory. "Kelly was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Saints manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Ken Kelly singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Alonso Jiménez in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This season in 29 games Kelly is batting .259 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and has scored 22 times. |
