Arredondo Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times Saturday, April 14th, 2018 Martín Arredondo, center fielder for the Saskatoon Legends, had a whale of a game, rocketing three balls out of Ballpark of Red Deer College against the London Monarchs today in their 23-1 victory. After the game he said, "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them. The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves... all three were mistakes." For the game Arredondo was 3-3 with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Arredondo added, "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives. Today I found the home run stroke." Martín Arredondo hit a two-run home run off Carlos Marino in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Dylan Thomas in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Aldo Udinga in the 4th, walked in the 5th, walked in the 6th and walked in the 7th. Thus far in 2018 Arredondo is hitting .335 with 18 home runs, 50 RBIs, 45 runs scored and has compiled a .394 OBP. |
