Stars Gonzáles Suffers 4-Game Suspension Monday, April 9th, 2018 Following an intense confrontation with the home plate umpire in which he was ejected, Stars center fielder Luis Gonzáles was suspended 4 games by the league. Gonzáles had to be physically restrained by his manager and appeared to make a few threats toward the umpire. He was upset by a called third strike in a game with Calgary at Drummondville College Grounds. Gonzáles could not be reached for comment on the suspension. Gonzáles is currently batting .302 with 5 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
