Week's Top Player: Saskatoon's Verney Monday, March 12th, 2018 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Lester B. Person League, but last week Graham Verney of the Saskatoon Legends reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Verney rocked opposing pitching for a .538 average (14-26), 2 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. |
