Poor Hitless, Streak Ends at 20 Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016 Frank Poor of the Kelowna Heat came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats. That put a quick end to his 20-game hitting streak. To make matters even worse, Kelowna dropped the game to the Victoria Capitals 11-0. In a postgame comment Poor told the press, "It was not a good day today. We lost the game and the streak is over." Thus far this season Poor has hit .333 with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 22 times. |
