Piercey Week's Best in LBL Monday, April 6th, 2015 20-year-old John Piercey made a few Niagara headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Lester B. Person League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 18 at-bats to put up a .556 average. Piercey collected 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 7 runs. |
