Skipper Kouno Banished from Dugout by Cougars Saturday, May 4th, 2019 The Washington State Cougars won't have Keishi Kouno to kick around anymore. In a lengthy and rambling press conference, the Cougars general manager announced the dismissal, citing the team's lackluster results. Despite remarks and a question-and-answer session that lasted well over an hour, the GM managed to avoid making any assurances or even prognoses about what fans can expect from the team in the near term. Basically all he said is that the team needs to do better and he hopes to find a new manager that will do just that. Interviews for the position will begin tomorrow with several unnamed applicants. |
