General Manager Simmonds Axed by Tulane Saturday, May 4th, 2019 It's a somber day in Tulane as George Simmonds was canned as GM by the Green Wave today. Fans, miffed that the club took such drastic measures, immediately began flooding Berthoud College Grounds with complaints. While embattled, Simmonds remained a popular figure in fan circles, though his management style rubbed the upper echelons the wrong way, as it did with several unnamed players on the squad. Analysts predict that dark times will continue unless Tulane can get a big-name GM to come in and turn things around. |
