GM Mike Whittier Released by 49'ers Saturday, May 4th, 2019 The Whittier era has come to a close with the firing of the 49'ers general manager. Seen as inconsistent and lacking direction by the club's brass, Mike Whittier will be free to seek employment elsewhere, though his tenure at Long Beach State leaves a dark mark on his resume. 49'ers officials haven't begun looking for a replacement as yet, but announced that a search would begin tomorrow. |
