Johnston Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Friday, April 26th, 2019 Wake Forest first baseman Nathan Johnston keeps on racking up hits in every game he plays in. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 2 hits in today's game. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out. I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've been a little lucky," said Johnston after the Demon Deacans 7-4 victory over the Tigers. Nathan Johnston hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th and singled in the 7th. For the year Johnston is batting .391 with 14 home runs. |
