Volunteers Armstrong Has 15 Ks Thursday, April 18th, 2019 If you can't hit 'em, you can't beat 'em. That was the story today at the Tennessee-Iowa State clash at Madera College Grounds. Volunteers twirler Ed Armstrong gunned down 15 Cyclones via strikeouts and beat them 4-2. In a superb performance he allowed 4 hits and issued 1 walk for the victory. His record for the year is 5-0 in 9 starts and Armstrong has a 1.04 ERA. |
