5-Hit Blitz by Baylor's Hill Saturday, April 13th, 2019 No matter what the Mississippi State Bulldogs threw at him today, Nicholas Hill hit it. He easily handled Bulldogs pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Bears to a 8-7 triumph at Crowley College Grounds. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Mississippi State skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Nicholas Hill hit an RBI double in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th. In the current season, Hill has put up a .296 batting average with 40 hits, 10 home runs, 29 runs batted in and scored 19 runs. |
