Tigers Torres Down with Injury Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 Luis Torres expressed his disappointment when he learned that bone chips in his elbow would sideline him for 6-7 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Torres. The reliever got hurt in today's game with the Michigan Wolverines. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. So far this season, in 7 relief appearances Torres has compiled an ERA of 16.20. He has pitched 8.1 innings, struck out 7, walked 6 and registered no saves. |
