González 5-5 for South Carolina Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 South Carolina defeated Arkansas today at Scandals Ballpark. The highlight of the game was right fielder Júlio González. His hitting heroics included a 5-5 day, paving the way for a Gamecocks 9-1 triumph over the Razorbacks. Júlio González hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Howard Poole in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. For the year González has hit at a .327 clip with 17 RBIs, 2 home runs and 18 runs scored. |
