Fuller 5-5 for Wake Forest Monday, April 1st, 2019 At Ballpark of Ridge College Derek Fuller was the King of Swing today in the 11-7 win over the Tigers. The Wake Forest shortstop stepped into the batter's box 5 times against the Missouri and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 5! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Derek Fuller singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. For the year Fuller is hitting .274 with 4 home runs. His stats include 14 RBI and 17 runs scored. |
